Level 2 Award in Hydrocarbon Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump System Installation, Servicing and Maintenance
All delegates must currently hold City & Guilds 2079-11 or an Equivalent qualification, proof will be required on attendance.
A basic understanding of the thermodynamic principles of refrigeration will be necessary.
The practical assessment will involve working on a system designed for Hydrocarbon refrigerants.
Delegates will need to show competency with brazing and electrical safety and knowledge of the tooling required when working on Hydrocarbon systems.
There is an written question and answer multiple choice paper, all candidates must complete and pass before moving on to the practical test.
