This 18th Edition Course is essential for anyone who works or is involved with electrical installations, especially those who work within the domestic and commercial markets.
The course is ideal for contact managers, designers, electrical engineers and installers, consultants, surveyors and other related construction trades. The course will ensure that you know all you need to know about the current standards and are working in compliance with the latest edition of the wiring regulations.
The new IET 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (released July 2018) is the industry standard for anyone working with electrical installations in the UK.
The IET has stated that from Jan 2019 all work carried out must comply with the new regulations. We have two courses for those who are looking to get qualified. The 3 and half day (2382:2018) covers the full syllabus and is suited for those who have not previously completed the City and Guilds/EAL 17th edition 2382:2015 with 3rd amendment.

Scope, Object and Fundamentals
Assessment of general characteristics
Protection for Safety
Selection and Erection of equipment
Inspection & Testing
Special Installations or locations
Plus changes outlined in the new edition such as:
Protection against over voltages
Electrical Embedded heating
Protection against fire
This course in an intensive 3 day course theory based. The exam will be taken on the third day at 2.30pm. The exam is 2 hours long so you may leave the centre a little later than usual.

For those who have recently acquired the 17th Edition with 3rd amendment and are highly experienced within the industry, we offer a 1-day update course which covers only the changes between the two editions. Pease note for the one day the full exam is taken not just the exam on the updates.
